All about MSCW

Admission process in MSCW was pretty easy. I checked the list of colleges i was being offered at 91.25% for Bcom(hons.) 2018. Mata Sundri being the most suitable to my location (central delhi) , i chose it. Starting with the admission process, students were guided properly at each step. College staff was humble. Everything was easy. One thing that i would point out to fresh admission students is to be aware of the other colleges too. MSCW might not be the choice for students who are looking for a "wholesome college life".

Being a commerce student i was clear about my course priority. The faculty for bcom hons in MSCW is good. I won't say excellent, its good. Teachers are helping but not excellent at teaching (except some) to be very straightforward. So if you're someone who can study on own, then no issue for you. About exams, they were easy to pass provided you study decently. The best part about college is attendance. There was no attendance issue. You could easily do your thing and not come to college for long.

Companies were Travclan, Prosegur , wipro and some more. Stipend during the internship was around 3-4k for three months. Some were unpaid too. During the internship, we were given tasks to prepare excel sheets and keep a check on all the data of a company. Basically a data analyst.

From fifth to sixth sem, students start getting placement opportunities. Big companies to start up companies all offer to the students. The highest we were offered was 8lac CTC Lowest was 1.5lac CTC. Not sure but around 40-50 percent students were placed. I am preparing for some government exams though i tried for all the jobs and got some but refused.

The cost of the study is decent. As compared to other colleges of DU, its on a higher-end but still decent. Jobs i were offered were of 1. Financial analyst 2. Marketing analyst 3. Sales executive Big companies to start-up companies, all have reach in this college. So you get good opportunities.

In feb , saarang the annual fest is conducted in MSCW. LIBRARY of this college is commendable, you will find a range. ACs are there in classroom , but they don't turn it on. So many extracurriculars. Sports is also good(Don't know much about sports though) Invictus , the commerce society of college is highly known. Parindey, the drama society is amazing too.
