Remarks

Ranking was good and placements were good too. Admissions process was like after counselling we had to report to college for admission and register for courses. Official NTA website and GATE websites were used for process

Course Curriculum Overview

Course for sufficient and teachers were quite professional and qualified. 3 test terms and 1 major exams per subject in one semester. Exams were average and were from course discussed in the classroom.

Placement Experience

Placement was good and students were provided various opportunity when companies came to visit for campus placements. Average 95+ percentage of student gets placed at the end. Good companies visited our campus like google Microsoft intelligence qualcomm Nvidia etc

Campus Life

Life at college was fun. One technical and one cultural festival per year named Tathva and Ragam used to bring up joy and refreshment in student's life. Projectors, green boards, markers, chaks, blackboards, were available.

Placement Experience:

College offers lots of placements for B.Tech and MTech . Lots of comapnys are visited and lots of students are placed . Top most companies like L and T, ULCC, TCS, Microsoft etc are visited and they conducted Test and GD and select students accordingly

Placement opportunities are good. As I understand each students get minimum 20 company interview chances. students are placeed in TCS, Johson & Johson, eependorf, cipla, infosys etc. i think some where around 50000 per month was the highest. lowest is 15 k i believe.

Placements are mostly conducted with AMRITA school of pharmacy, and managed by the CIR team (They take care to develop and mould students from 1st semester in aptitude, English and soft skills). Placement Experience:

In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. The college was able to provide the highest package of around 30 LPA and the average package was 11 LPA. Arista Network, Google, TCS Research, Mckinsey, Honeywell, Texas instruments and Larson and Toubro were the top recruiters. I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
