IIIT, the brand name itself is enough. Institute of national importance under MHRD way much better than compared to any other college, also after struggling for 2 years for JEE exam, Indian Institute tag

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is very good all are PhD people and have a good research domain if you're coming in an IIIT then this is one must expect for atleast, so faculty is very good here and student ratio is so sad, what should I say, it's a pain in nerve, like 200 boys and 10 girls very sad

Internships Opportunities

By far the college was providing 100 Percent intership to students but as the covid crisis hit the college is not providing interships, students have to do on their own

Placement Experience

IIIT, name itself is enough, by the first placements the highest were 22lpa for 3 students, by the second placements it increased to 36lpa and the third will go on this season, average is I guess 11 lpa

Fee Structure And Facilities

IIIT is a bit expensive than other colleges also this is in PPP mode, which means it's in public private partnership so it's not government funded and hence the expense needs to be managed by the institute and shareholders so the fees is quiet high, if we talk about ROI then yes the ROI is good if the student is hard working

Campus Life

It's still under development, the main campus which is under construction is super awesome as per the faculty, and it'll be one of the best infrastructure college campus but as of now the operations are in temporary campus therefore the services are limited

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
