Good Reputation- u can find this everywhere. Ask anyone the best marine training college and they will say Tolani. Placements are not bad but more than 75% of the batch gets placed. Good sports facilities, infrastructure, library. But fees have now become high.

Course curriculum of the Indian Maritime University to which TMI is affiliated has few unnecessary things to study.Faculties are good and helpful. There is also a club for academic activities and so they will solve your doubts in hostel.

I have done an internship on a Danish company. It was on an oil tanker. Ship built in 2005. I was given tasks to do like Sounding, completing logbook, operating machineries, carrying out emergency operations during drills.

From semester 3 onwards companies come for placement. These include Maersk, Teekay, NYK, Chevron, Stena, Evergas, MSI, MSC, Fleet, Torm, K-Line,MOL, MOLTA, BW shipping, Tolani shipping, Scorpio,etc. 80% of students get placed

16 lakhs fee for my batch of 2016. But every year the fees are increasing. Scholarships are there for top 20 students. Also VJS scholarship is given. Financial aid is given to those who are in need and have good results in exams

Infrastructure is good. Many clubs are there to make new experiences. Sports facilities are available. Horizon is the annual fest. Transtech is the tech fest. Library has all the books and ebooks one wants.

Food is moderate in taste. Some dishes are very good. Some are very bad in taste. There are many hotels nearby in Talegaon. Restaurants are also available outside the campus premises. In Talegaon there are many restaurants as well.

There was a computer based test having syllabus of maths, physics, chem with negative marking. And interview where 3 people interview you. Those who pass both will be given opportunity to do medical at sickbay.
