The admission process was very sorted. We filled the University form just after the completion of my 12th. Due to providing things got delayed and the cut-off lists were released in the month of October. Admissions were done completely based on the 12th mark. According to the marks, colleges were allowed
Course Curriculum Overview
The overall faculty is good at the college. If I specifically talk about the Accounting department, maitreyi college has a few of the best Accountancy professors. Whereas, the quality somehow lacks in the company law, business law department.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides a lot of internship opportunities throughout the year. A Maitreyi student can see different companies with different profiles and can choose the company as per their career choice. From the human resource domain to the digital marketing domain there are a lot of different fields available. Some of the companies that appears for the internship program are: upskills, Adpushup, bajaj capitals, HCL technologies, and many more
Placement Experience
The placements are offered only to the last year students. Around 70 companies participates in the placement drive which ends by selecting 150+ students from the college. The placement rate is low as compared to other top collegew but still gives the best opportunity to the students to grab their seats. Companies that arrive during placement drive are Infosys, Wipro, decathlon and many more Highest package may vary from 6-9 lakh whereas the lowest my vary from 2.5-4 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is really affordable. I am charged only 6000 per year which is easily affordable. The fees has been constant for the last few years, there has been no such hike in the fees. Scholarships are provided under the delhi University schemes. College rarwly have schemes under it. Mainly the schemes belongs to Delhi University.
Campus Life
The campus life of Maitreyi college is highly fun and enjoyable. The college has everything from sports fest ro college's annual fest. Every fest is fun to attend. Maitreyi college organises annual fest in the month of March. The fest is named as Rhaposdy. Then we have sports tournaments once in a year. There are different socities for different art. Maitreyi college have its drama society, popularly known as Abhivyakti, then we have commerce society, popularly known as excelsior. The socieities are mainly lead by the students council and gives a great exposure to the people who are a part of it. We also have a variet of sports like hockey, basketball, athletics, boxing, volleyball, tennis and many more.
