Remarks

Cut-offs were announced by all the colleges of Delhi University and they met my Board percentage requirement so i got admission in Acharya Narendra Dev College. I had also applied in ISBF for economics and i had got admission their but i didn't join it because of the high fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course i was interested in the commerce field and wanted to perform an audit after the course. I believe the faculty: student ratio is about 1:12. The faculty is highly qualified and masters in their respective fields. During classes, textbooks are referred to completely and some professors use their own notes to teach the students. Semester exams are conducted as per the guidelines of The Delhi University and they are not very tough to pass

Internships Opportunities

There are very few internship opportunities available by the college. Even if they are offered, there is no point in receiving any stipend. However, few links if Internshala fairs are mailed to the students in case they can find an employer on their own

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester itself, students and allowed to sit for campus placements and they can be employed before being graduated. Wipro and E&Y are the top recruiters. 70% of students are generally placed during campus placements. I am also planning for the same

Fees and Financial Aid

When it comes to Delhi University, the fees of colleges is generally not an issue. The annual fee of my course is just 8 thousand rupees per annum which i think is quite affordable. Also, there has been no hike in fees over the years

Campus Life

The annual fest 'Corpomaze' is conducted by the students of 'Vanijya-commerce society' in the month of February every year. The library is well ventilated and all kinds of books are available in it. However, the infrastructure in the classroom is very poor with broken chairs and tables. The playground is a common hangout place for all the students

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

My college is ranked 18th in nirf 2024 in science and 9th in university of delhi and a average campus with good faculty. this my 5th prefrence on my prefrence list i want to take admission in atma ram sanatam dharma college but the crowd is the college is not so good i dont upgrade my college and freezes my seat. in du admission taken on the basis of cuet exam scores and then we have to fill csas portal for du . i dont applied for any other college...Read More

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
