Remarks

It was the best University for distance learning. Provides quality education at reasonable fees. People of any age can apply to get a graduate or masters or certified or diploma degree from this university. It's study centre are located in many different cities across India, so one doesn't need to relocate and can continue to study from wherever they are. Also study materials are provided through post, thus saving the time. All facilities like question papers, assignment papers are available on its website.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course was well structured. Study materials were excellent. All the other resources were available online and the forms could be filled online easily. The only problem is sometimes it takes quite long to get study material at your doorstep. But, the good thing is you can download the study material from egyankosh on your mobile phone in pdf format. This helps till you get the hard copy delivered. Faculty is good. But in some courses like those related to social studies are not considerate. Well, it varies from city to city too.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are not offered as it is a distance learning University. But, if you've gone through the course well and have studied seriously, it would be really beneficial. IGNOU courses and study materials are well researched and one of the bests. I would suggest to study thoroughly, not just for exams/marks, to be able to use your skills to create opportunities for yourself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is well structured and reasonable. Anyone can easily afford the courses. Scholarship tests for specific courses are also available. For students belonging to minority quota and for differently abled ones, financial aid is provided. Although course structures are great, affordable and good for those who can't actually attend colleges regularly due to any reasons, there is no placement facilities due to distance learning.

Campus Life

4.5

Although there is no such campus as it is a distance learning University, regular sessions, events and clubs are organised. Schedules of these are either texted or mailed to you by regional centres. One may participate in these to gather great experiences.

Admission

No for BA course there is no such thing like that. Though there are gdpi for MBA and other courses. These sessions/interactions are held at study centres in your city. Mostly held on weekends, you would be updated about schedules through text messages from respective regional centre.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
