Entrance Preview

Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka government, Karnataka examination authority Bangalore. I had option about two Engineering and medical . Based on my ranking I got engineering that too computer science and engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be frank I don't remember exactly what I know is now is best platform for students. Those who gets study in NIE will have bright for and they will get better life in future. NIE is best in best producing engineers and very well administration and infrastructure.

Internships Opportunities

NIE will not provide internship for every students. Those who are interested they will get the internship.

Placement Experience

Placement is for sure 90℅ students. For CS branch most of them will get place in very good reputed companies. For an year upto 93 companies will come and approximately 1000 offers will be given every year. This is all because of good college name and placement cell is very best in best.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year alumni association will give the scholarship for top score students whose annual income is low and are willing bright in studies.

Campus Life

There is no ragging as heard from my 1st year to till now .Lab facilities for students are awesome and library will give extra motivation to study for students and work hard.

Exam Structure

There will be exams like in semester system. Each semester will carry 25 credits students are instructed to study for 25 credit for every semester. Each semester will have 3 internals tests.

Faculty

Faculties are very well experienced and most of them are from IIT from all over the india. Their teaching skill is very good and they will convey their words to each and every students. They are all friendly in nature with students they will treat us like theirs friends and others own children.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

Honest review of The national institute of engineering

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Last round cut off for ise was 24k in year 2022. But it may decrease this year till 15k. Yearly fee for comedk students is 2.5lak and hostel fee is 97500 and 10k advance...Read More

Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
