Entrance Preview

We do not have any entrance exam for B.COM stream here in Kolkata under Calcutta University. Admissions were given according to our percentage of marks scored in our class 12 examination.

Internships Opportunities

On a recent basis they have started campus recruitment to the help of the candidates. Company like TCS, Wipro, Pwc are the participating organisation regarding the recruitment. It is quiet beneficial for the candidates as they do not have to roam around for jobs. During our times we don't have got such facilities.

During our times we don't have got such facilities. I don't have the exact data as how many were placed, what was the cost to company because during our times we din't have got such opportunities .

I don't have any knowledge about the scholarship of our college, but i know our college provides different types of concessions like student railway concession for those who are needy, educational compensation to those who need who don't have money but are excellent in the field of education.

Yes they also provide different types of information about our college latest development as well as the different types of news regarding the latest working of alumni.

Admission

I scored 75.25% percentage in my ISC examination. I applied for B.Com Hons course from this college and according to the merit my name came out in the merit list. I was asked to bring my class 12 result, admit card and class 10 admit card. After that once they verified every documents they asked me to submit the amount necessary for admission purpose.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . Placement Experience:

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. I actually appiled for Bhawnipore Educational Society College and Jaipuria College other than this college and i got selected in Bhawnipore college. I choosed this college as the fees are very low compared to other colleges and the distance of the college from my home is short. In Jaipuria I couldn't make it for high cut offs and this is the only reason. First we need to do the form fill up and we went to the college and waited for 5 hrs for verification of the marksheets then we filled the form of student union and thats all for the admission process....Read More

As a CA student i want a college where attendance doesn't matter for us, and this college is perfect for it. They doesn't ask for attendance and we only visit college when we need to appear at our college exams. Before taking admission in CCCBA i applied for Umesh chandra university which is the same college but it runs in morning and our college runs in the evening in the same building and same college. Yes, i got rejected in umesh chandra university because of my class 12th percentage. Admission process of our college is simple you can apply from our college website and and after some time they'll release merit list and if your name is in merit list it means you got selected and you can pay the college fees and that's it.
