Remarks
I got into this college through the wbjee rank and counselling process. I chose many engineering colleges in Kolkata, like JU, Techno India, Guru Nanak, BIT, Netaji Institute, BPPIMT, and many more and I got my College B.P.PODDAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY by my GMR rank, Not quota. About admission criteria the min marks is 60% overall. Admission process was very good. After getting the college from wbjee counciling process I reached to the City Office of Our institute in Park Street and got admitted here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Okay! Why did I choose this course? So the First reason which comes up is my interest in computers and the technology behind them. After that yes it is a very good and precious Course to get a job in any IT sector. It may be In India or Abord. The faculty of this College get 8.5 points out of 10 Overall. And most of them are either post graduated or Prof. Our term exams were not got late ever. And that was not so difficult.If you follow the classes carefully then you can pass the exams easily.
Internships Opportunities
In terms of Training and Internship the Companies like All India Radio, Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd., W.B.S.E.D.C.L, Metro Railway, BSNL etc come. And a Student gets good projects from these companies to show in the CV.
Placement Experience
From the 7th Semester, Students apply for the Campus Placement procedure. The Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon, Cognizant and many more. 80-90% of students get placements with a minimum 3LPA every year from this college. After getting this degree I want to go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very affordable than other private engineering colleges allocated in Kolkata. Within a total amount of 4.5 Lakh approx this college gives good and learnable Btech Courses. Different Scholarships are available here.
Campus Life
Annual Fest in this college is Elixar which takes place once every 4 year. And there are many tech fest are being conducted every year. The Central Library of this college is very neat and clean and well decorated. I must say 80-85% books and journals are avaliable there.Class rooms are very good. This college have their own website,from where you can know about this college more. And besides there are various clubs and Forums like one of them is KALAKRITI in which Music,Dance and Drama ane contained.
