Remarks

The admission process was very easy for any student to go through. The college was very helpful in each step of the same. I did not avail any quota. The minimum criteria had a cutoff of 79% in my course and the student should've been a 12th passout. The orientation day was very detailed and we were given a college tour too.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was varied. We had numerous subjects from Science, arts and even from commerce background. The faculty members were not always helpful though. The visiting faculty of the college doesn't always treat the students right and Infact the HOD's of various departments were non-cooperating too at times.

There weren't ajy options for campus placement. Only once in my 3 years of college I have seen a internship fair in my college. When things went online even then the placement cell didn't work. Therefore I have no clue about the companies as well as the highest or lowest packages that were offered. My plans after the degree are to drop a year, study for PG entrances and till then work and gain experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is a little higher as compared to other Delhi University colleges. The fees didn't go down in the lockdown. For that matter, even when we were attending college physically, the fees went up a little and the facilities being provided were not up to the mark. I don't know much about scholarships or financial assitance being provided. There is a placement cell but that isn't as helpful as it should be.

Campus Life

Feria is our college fest. We only had the fest in 1st year of my college. In the second year they cancelled the fest due to lack of funds. This is a shame according to me. We have a gym in our college but that gym isn't what one wouod want to go to. The trainer is very rude. The societies in my college are very nice and famous throughout other societies in Delhi University.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

My choice for B.Sc. Hons Food Technology in this college was not due to limited options but instead of that I knew what career choices I wanted to make for the life that I manifest. The Institute of Home Economics- new but a legacy soon

It was not like that I wasn't getting admission in other colleges except this one but the chice that I made was majorly due to the career planning that I had done in the early stages. I chose this college because of the advanced facilities it provide and also it is easier to commute for me to the college and back to my home and vice versa. Everything you needaa know about your college.

I chose this college as it it ranked in the top 3 amongst the other 8 DU colleges which has this course. Also, the location i find it too convinient for me. This college has very limited courses so there are decent number of children. I got confirmed admission from Gargi College also but that college has a bad reputation for things.
