Viresh Yadav's Review On Hansraj College - [HRC], New Delhi

I love my college in every aspect and I will give it ten out of ten i used to make fun of teachers until a horrible creature named boss came into my life.

Hansraj College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, in New Delhi, India. The college offers studies in Science, Liberal Arts and Commerce. I easily got selected due to my good percentile. I opted for this college because it is a very prominent college. shah rukh khan and ranvijay are alumni from this college.

The Hans raj college have a good perspective teaching related to other colleges of du it uses simple and practical course to its students. I enjoyed my wonderful years in my awesome college i miss it now after some time I will be visiting the college reunion and meet my old buddies.

Hansraj has very good placements opportunities. EACH courses have its own placement department to guide students. Top minces like Envy, Kamp, Mahindra tech , plc. , etc come in college offering good packages. Average package goes around 600000 and top may offer till 900000 to 1000000. Internship -No internship is not provided by the college. But student can do internship themselves. In final year, few companies comes to provided internship in college placement.

Their were placement cell which used to help in organising the placement fair. It was an excellent experience as we were also involved to get the companies in our final year. There were a number of companies that used to come including EY, Delloitte, etc. The placement rate was generally good although a lot of people used to opt for higher studies. It is quite feasible my college fees was aroung 13000 for 1 year widely coveted B.Com (Hons.) Course aims at providing comprehensive insight into finance, banking, law, accounting, taxation and management, which play an important role in today's dynamics business environment. If you are aiming for professional courses like C.A., I.C.W.A./A.C.C.A., and C.S., this is the right starting point. Those aspiring to become entrepreneurs will also find the community of reputed authors and dedicated and experienced teachers.

Fee Concessions Fee concessions are given to needy and deserving students on the basis of their performance in the previous examination. Students desirous of getting fee concession should apply to the College office on the prescribed form. The College has seven well-equipped and well managed Computer Laboratories. Approximately 210 state-of-the –art machines from IBM, HCL & HP and LCD Projectors, Plasma TVs and Interactive Boards are available along with all other necessary peripherals.

Canteen The College Canteen is spread over 375 sq.m and accommodates approximately 150 users. Staff members and students share the Canteen. It aims to provide a variety of quality food & beverages at competitive rates. A multi-product retail outlet is also functional adjacent to it. The Hans Raj College Alumni Association has more than 8000 members. The purpose is to bring together the various alumni on a common platform for strengthening the network of its student community. It has a formally organized structure with elected office bearers sharing the responsibility of its functioning with the College. Its annual meeting is held in the College on the first Sunday of every February. Over the years, these meetings have emerged as a warm meeting ground for ex-students and their families.

Getting admission was quit easy as if you get good percentile you get admission very early and easily. my brother who was already studying in the College and that s why he he helped me and got me the admission form and I I filled it and then met the principal of the school.

For faculties of applied Social Sciences & Humanities; Arts, Commerce & Business; Education, Inter-disciplinary & Applied Sciences(except Physical Education); Law; Mathematical Sciences; Sciences (except Home Science, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy) and Social Sciences. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
