Remarks

I applied for only kirorimal college and luckily I got it. The cut-off for my course was around 90% +, I took admission in the 4th cut-off. The process of Admission was a little tricky. Firstly one has to get a token then wait for his no. And after that, you need to verify your mark sheets and other documents required. They are the 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, transfer certificate, migration certificate, and character certificate. These are kinda important. After that your details in the registration form will be matched with that of mark sheets, it will be verified and 50% of the admission is done. After that you need to pay the fee and admission is done.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I wanted to clear jee main but couldn't crack it so I thought of clearing IIT JAM after my graduation. So I took maths. There are a total of 50 students in my class and I total of 10 faculty in my department so the faculty: students ratio is 1:5. The teachers are highly qualified, they have done Ph.D. and have experience of 10 years. Exams were taken at regular intervals, a total of two semester exams were taken. One in November and the other in June.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I didn't apply for any internship but my batch mates did. They applied for the post of content developer, marketing, and more. They also applied for the post of campus ambassador. Some of the companies providing internships are Sankalp, MUN, study global, and more. They provide many rewards also and it's really useful for CV and self-experience.

Placement Experience

4.5

Avenue is the placement cell of KMC that every year invites more than 50 companies to recruit employees. Some of the top recruiters include Ernst & Young, Deloitte, PwC, BYJU's, DE Shaw, IDinsight. Last year the highest salary package offered was 20 lakhs per year and the lowest was 5 lakhs per year. Commerce students get most of the placement as their percentage is more. Around 40% got placement last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is around 13,000 per year. It includes every charge such as electricity, water, examination fee, library fee, admission fee everything. So the fee was not so high. One if want can easily get an internship and get paid around 5,000 monthly. So if he/she is living in a hostel can manage his/her expenses. There are no scholarship provisions as such but one can get some fee relaxation as the poor and PWD students. The Kashmiri migrant, ex-army men wards get some fee relaxation around 10,000.

Campus Life

4.5

KMC has no. of societies and clubs. These are Adventure club, AMCatKMC, enactua, Bhoomi-the eco-club, The egalitarian cell, kartavya - the civil service society, and many more. It's hard to count. Renaissance is the Annual Cultural festival of KMC, last it was celebrated in 2019 after that due to pandemics it has not been organized. It lasts for two days. Many big celebrities come every year. KMC always features in media. Many movies are directed here like Kabir Singh. So watching shooting and celebrities every day makes life at college amazing. There are other committees as well, they are the library committee, students welfare committee, and more.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
