Course Curriculum Overview
Pondicherry University has qualified and experienced Professors. As usual it is up to the students who are willing to learn. Each professor will use different mode of teaching, anyhow commonly used mode is teaching using overhead projector.
Internships Opportunities
I have opted for internship at Urban Company for one month Virtually. It is a non-paid internship. Role offered was Intern under the HR department. My task was to call the employees and making sure that they will be get back to work that to during the beginning of pandemic.
Placement Experience
A lot of companies vs University as it has many departments when it comes to placements around less than 50% of students may get placed as it is the time of pandemic whereas it is around 60 - 70% previously. This panoramic the companies visited at the department of management studies are Accenture, TCS, Infosys, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities and so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is normal when compared to private Universities. Scholarships are available as per the norms of GoI. You can avail bank loan during study period if you are well influenced with procedures in bank else it is difficult.
Campus Life
Life at campus is really more colourful if you want to study, you can study; if you want to play, you can play, you can have the complete freedom that what ever you want to do. Regarding the amenities available at the campus you cannot expect a hi-fi facility but can expect a decent facility. Have a very good collection of books at library with a very good reading room. A lot of festivals will be there.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for hostel I am lucky enough to get the new hostel facility that is built very recently. Many other old hostels are there, they are not that good still you can manage with that because you will be staying with your friends and it will be not be a big deal. Coming to rent, it is ok as it is very minimum when compared to others the mess facility all over India, the same problem exists and it is not that good and not that bad it's an average.
