Entrance Preview

My admission was based on 10+2 marks. I scored 92% in the 12th exam. My interest was in commerce and SRCC is one of the best colleage in the country. I was lucky to get the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is based on Delhi University. The main thing which made the difference was faculty and their method of teaching. Atmosphere also made very big impact on my experience. I still cherish the memories of my college days. I'll recommend SRCC to anyone at any day.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, internship was arranged by the college placement cell. I too attended internship at Standard Charted bank. Stipend was INR 5000/month. Faculty helped and guided me in selecting and completing project.

Placement Experience

4.5

College placement cell arranged campus interview with some of the big companies. Around 70% of the students were selected for direct placement during campus interviews. I too got my placement into a big company through campus interviews. This was one of the biggest benefit of attending SRCC.

College Events

3.5

There are were many technical, cultural, management festivals. On frequent basis, big companies were contacted and the people working over there are requested to come over to our campus and share their experiences. This helps students in preparing themselves for entering corporate world much in advance.

Exam Structure

In SRCC PG course the labs and exams were very frequent. As this is not a science course so lab was replaced by regular presentations from students on either subject topics or current issues followed by monthly assessments. In this way the students already got very good exposure of creating effective presentations and also has good exposure of public speaking.

Admission

I procured the form from the counter of the college and filled the form 1 day before the last day. The process was very clear and smooth. The staff was very courteous. My name appeared in the first merit list it was. Luckily that year merit list went around 92% and I was selected. After that year I haven't seen merit list going below 95%.

Faculty

4

Excellent faculty. Most of the professor were master in their field. Many of them had written famous books in their field of teaching.Faculty always encouraged to ask questions and clarify doubts.

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
