Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is excellent, mostly case based learning leading to good classroom discussions, assignments and projects. Faculties were seasoned experienced people with most of them having industry experience too apart from academic experience.

Great placement opportunities. Companies visited were from various sectors, FMCG, Healthcare, BFSI, IT etc. There were big names in startups as well who visited for placements. Overall placements were great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure can be found on MDI website. Will suggest having a look over there. There are scholarship opportunities as well depending upon the student's performance. Internships are usually paid with a good stipend.

Life at campus was amazing with so much opportunities for peer learning. Campus was always buzzing with some activities. There were a couple of fests being organised regularly, both acadmic and cultural fests. Imperium, Illumina, etc. There were many clubs and committees one can be a part of.

One of the best universities for MBA

Placement Experience:

Placements is good. Higher placements come for Engineering students but MBA and BBA students also get avg placement of 8-9 LPA. Many of my seniors from last year got good placements at top companies like Hyundai, Maruti,Amkette, Flipkart, Adaan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very basic not very helpful in real world in my opinion i chose this college just because it was near my place not because of its curriculum its not that bad just as same as other tier 3 colleges. They do have extra value added courses each sem which are helpful which are mandatory to pass so everyone has to do it seriously the college is overall very strict so that does help for certain students to study as their is no as such criteria for admission here so the students here dont really care about studying but because of the strictness they do learn somewhat. Timing of exams and frequency is okayish as they keep us engaged with all the assignments and tests but yeah i do get time for self study so its balanced.

I chose MDI Gurgaon over XLRI Delhi, IIM Shillong, new and baby IIMS, NITIE - PGDSM. The reason for choosing MDI was its proximity to my hometown, Tier 1 status. I was rejected from IIM ABCLKI and FMS - Delhi mostly on the basis of my undergrad scores and a CAT percentile which was not high enough. You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date.
