College is known for distinguished faculties, It is also known for its academic rigor, Furthermore, placements were good, Batch Size is adequate, In addition to this, College Recognition and Ranking is also high.

Course Curriculum is at par with the industry standards, the faculties put in a lot of effort in the classes as well as in informal learning. MDI is known for its academic excellence and is regarded among the top colleges for the same.

An Institution That Truly Support Students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for BCA (AI & ML) at PIET is designed according to current industry standards. It focuses on practical learning through internships and hands-on exposure through mentorship program and industry visits. The aspect which made me choose PIET over other colleges is the strong industry collaborations, as PIET has MoUs with organizations such as ICT Academy and Code Quotient Mohali. These collaborations provide us opportunities to participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars.

During a college event, i met two of many seniors, and they told me that they got jobs in big MNCs, one in Zomato and the other in Genpact, and all this is faciliated by the Office of Career services. the Office of Career services guides us right from the start of the semester. As my course is related to medical field the curriculum of BAMS course attracted me a lot because it focuses on both modern and ayurvedic aspect of treatment of different diseases. The curriculum prepares me fully for treating the disease in the real world and becoming a successful doctor. There are some areas of improvement need to be taken in the curriculum is that the modern and ayurvedic techniques should be interlinked and the faculty need to make the students understand how they can treat any disease by using both the knowledge in a practical way. The exam timing is 3 hour per exam and frequency of exams is twice a month.

Since my CAT percentile was quite less, 96, and being from a top NIT, I wanted to get into a B-School which could complement my NIT tag, while my fream was a tier - 1 college, my percentile shut all doors. Hence, with an interest in fin, I joined the best new IIM for Fin - IIM Tiruchirappalli. There I found the batch size to have increased by about more than 30% to 522. I chose MDI Gurgaon over XLRI Delhi, IIM Shillong, new and baby IIMS, NITIE - PGDSM. The reason for choosing MDI was its proximity to my hometown, Tier 1 status. I was rejected from IIM ABCLKI and FMS - Delhi mostly on the basis of my undergrad scores and a CAT percentile which was not high enough. You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date.
