The Exploration - "my MBA journey"

The admission process in GGV is very easy and convenient. For Admission an MBA student must have cleared cmat exam with a valid score as MBA. Fill out the application form and provide all the documents asked all the details about documents are clearly mentioned on GGV's website. After that merit list is prepared on the basis of cmat scorecard and then the second and final list is prepared if there are any vacant seats available. Then the shortlisted students are called for physical verification of documents and that is also a simple process.

I chose this course because management is the field I am interested in and to develop and improve my managerial skills. The faculty members here are very experienced and professionals. Senior faculty members are ph.d qualified and junior faculty members are Net qualified and also have teaching experience in different universities. A total of 2 internal exams are conducted before the main semester exams in every semester which is in 6 months of intervals.

There are many internship programs available and they also provide stipends like railway department corporate office and now there is also this work from home too available for the internship. The stipend provided is from 4000 to 10000 depending upon the student's work, their field, and organization. For the project, you have to give a clear description of the work you have done and a complete report regarding the topic you have given.

Students become eligible for placement after 3rd semester. Companies like Aditya Birla group cashpor finance, axis bank, and various other banking institutions visit for campus placement. The highest package is up to 5 lakh p.a. The percentage of students getting placement is not that high because the quality of placement is decreasing with time like 50% of offers are not quite good. My plan is to work in the Banking sector or to get a job in the corporate sector related to the finance field.

The fees structure is very good. The fees here, considering the MBA program are comparatively very less and affordable. Scholarships are provided to the students who belong to the reserved categories and their fees also get refunded. Here 4 - 5 companies come for placement including Aditya Birla group axis bank and various other banking sectors. For our senior cashpor finance came for campus placement. Campus placement is nearly 70% and the highest package is up to 5 lakh p.a.

The annual fest is conducted in every department between the month of March - April. Tech fest equilibrio is organized every year for inviting participants from and out of the university. The university has a central library and the MBA department has its own separate library for students of the department. The amenities in the classrooms are quite good. Sports week is organized every year and inter-department and inter College competition is also organized by the university. Mba department has one young manager club and they conduct activities every week for grooming of students.
