Remarks
The admission ran smooth, necessary help was provided from officials as well as the seniors volunteering. Admission was made on the basis of merit i.e the marks scored in 10+2. The minimum eligibility criteria were 50% in science subjects (best of four). Counselling day was messy at first but became organized soon. The staff was helpful and polite, it took more than 6 hours to complete the entire process for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Science especially biology has always been my subject, it was one of the subjects I was naturally drawn to hence, my choice. The faculty of Charuchandra College is exceptional. They will go to greater ends to help you. 100% of the faculty members hold PhD degrees and have great experience in teaching. Regularly only 20 sometimes only 2 students were present in the class but that doesn't stop the lecturers. They take classes even if there is only one student present. The faulty is highly dedicated. Talking about exams, they are never easy considering the subject they were extremely difficult. The study material and notes provided by the teachers were helpful and paved the way for us to sore better each time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course was affordable enough in comparison to other college's fee structures. Charu Chandra offers high-class education with the minimum possible fees. Scholarships like kanyashree are offered along with other state-level scholarships. The college has a dedicated notice board where details regarding vacancies are put.
Campus Life
CharuChandra hosts its annual day function in Aurobindro Manch every year. The college has a gigantic library, fully air conditioned with thousands of books, journals and other materials available. The library staff is not cooperative. Charu Chandra takes sports very seriously, in the year 2016 one of our college students participated in the Summer Olympics and earned bronze.
