Colleges applied for - HR, MMK, Nationals, Jai Hind, KC, Mithibai, NM. Quota - Sindhi Quota Criteria - Minimum Percentage: 80%, Minimum Age: 15 The admission process was very smooth. We just had to talk to the HOD and fill out a form for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course BMM as I was always interested in the media field. I was always happy behind the camera and in front of the camera. We had a good amount of in-house faculty as well as visiting faculty. There were different teachers for all different subjects teaching 150 students at one time. The teaching faculty in the college was highly qualified with degrees like PHD and were highly experienced as well. We had six semesters in 3 years and 2 exams per year. The papers used to be tough but due to amazing teachers, we used to pass the exams easily!
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placements during the sixth semester. Shebang, JP Morgan, and many such big companies visit. The number of offers made was 2:5 The details of packages and profiles were confidential and never discussed with people who did not sit for the placements. The percentage of students getting placement was 12-15% I passed out almost 2 years back and now I am working as an influencer marketing executive
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for all three years was consistent. Our feed was always around ?20,000. The fees were never increased or hiked I did not sit for placements in college as I was planning to study further after the course.
Campus Life
The annual and most famous fest of Jai Hind BMM was Detour. The fest consisted of an intercollegiate competition and was conducted during the month of December/January every year! I was never a library person but whenever I visited and whatever I wanted was always available at the library. Our classroom was always full of modern amenities. Good infrastructure. Nice furniture. Advanced technology. Jai Hind was a fest itself. Some or the other activity used to go on in the college at all times. SDU, Sindhi Club
