The remarks is the placement they offer the bad is that the management is quite stubborn and does not take considerations of the students need and demand over fests etc. They can surely make their cultural fest way better. Overall, the management plays its part perfectly when it comes to the success of the students.

Basically, the college has its own entrance exam termed as "UPESAT" for the admissions. I scored around 7000 and the reason to opt for this college was the specialization courses it provide in collaboration with IBM along with basic computer science engineering. It specializes us to a particular area of technology which was the major reason.

By far, as I have been looking to other colleges course curriculum ours is way better not only in terms of languages and subjects which are introduced considering the need of IT industry. Along with that, every semester a subject is introduced of the specialization subject as well. Along with that, there are several programs introduced by the college which are student friendly and provide funds and assistance in their projects.

Yes,the college provides internship both with stipend and stipend-free Dell- 25k/month, L&T- 8k/month, Lean Apps, Cognizent, To the new digital, OpenLX.

The fee structure lies in between the feasible and expensive. Initially, all the students with above 90% in class 12th were given scholarship of the tuition fees in the first semester. If the student continuously maintains a pointer of 3.6/4 from the second semester then he/she is continued with no tuition fees.

Firstly, i will highlight on the aesthetic value of the campus as it is in the list of top 15 beautiful campuses of India.From the natural essence to the environment of the campus is all wonderful. The hostel seats are limited to the students thus there are list of private hostels which are present under the affiliation of college campus hostel - 95k/year( provides good facilities with good food ,shared rooms, library, high wi-fi) other hostels- 1 - 1.25 lacs /year (they provide all the transportation, laundry, food(in lunch breaks too), high qualities, room services, WI-fi, TV, gym and celebrations of each and every occasions.

Yes, official introductions with seniors were taken care of and moreover techinal groups like CSI, ACM etc help a lot to share an learn from seniors.

It is highly hectic specially in the first 3 years. There is 9-5 strict schedule which has labs and classes. Labs are held on the basis of continuous evaluation i.e. no lab exam is held but at every lab the performance is recorded and a short viva is taken to ensure that isd concepts are understood by the student. Talking about the exam, every semester faces: Mid-semester examination- weightage 20% final exams- weightage 50% 2 class test+ 2 quizes+ 2 assignment+ attendance)Internal marks - 30%.

Following the rank I obtained in UPESAT, I was called for the counseling in Delhi. Though the core branches of the college were filled till then (pertoleum and gas) I was asked to choose among the branches which were left. I choose computer science with specialization in open source and open statndards which I was aspiring off and confirming my admission there, I went to registration in Dehradun campus and started from there.

All our faculties are either doctorate or pursuing their PhD. The faculties are highly educated with almost 80% from the IITs and NIITs. Technologically brilliant and moreover the way of teaching excels each quality of them. They introduce o students about projects, seminars and courses every now and then to guide them in every way possible. Ready to help is one quality they have.
