Remarks

I took admission in 2018 and at that time admission process was really time taking. First, you have to fill a registration form for the Delhi University and after it releases cutoff. You'll need to fill a registration form for a particular college. Taking admission requires 1. 10th marksheet 2. 12th marksheet 3. Character certificate 4. Transfer certificate. (But now the only marksheet of 10th and 12th are required). Do carry at least 3-4 photocopies of both the mark sheets. One has to wait to take her token no. From the admission desk, wait for her turn. The incharge will verify the marks. After verification is done, you have to pay the fee and the admission is done. For mathematics honors, a minimum of 94% is necessary to get admission to DRC.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I always scored good marks in maths and it was the only subject in which i wanted to continue my further studies. The faculty student ratio is 1:45. The teachers are highly qualified with a degree of phd. And are always ready to help their students. They also take doubt classes on Friday and Saturday. Exams were the best part of Daulat Ram College. Exams are taken twice in a year, first semester and 2nd semester. There were regular class tests to boost the spirit of competitiveness among the students. The 1st-semester exams during the chilled days of December are the best when you come out of the examination room with shivering hands and go to tea stalls to get your self some heat is the best part.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I had done a number of internship in my 2nd and 3rd year. These internship certificates are very important to boost your CV. There are few NGOs that provides internship opportunities. It includes Mushkurahat foundation, vishalakshmi foundation, aasha foundation, Umeed, sankalp and many more. They appoints campus ambassador, sometimes content writer, digital media head. There are many companies provides internships like colgate, phone pay etc. If they like your work they can recruit you as their permanent employ.

Placement Experience

4.5

Only proficiency in English and good communication skill is required to get selected. From the 1st year, one can go for the internship but can apply for placement only from 2nd year. Final semester marks doesn't really matter alot. One just have to score passing marks. There are no. Of companies like wipro, coco cola, Hindustan Unilever, colgate, flipkart, paytm and many more. One will be interviewed and on that basis she will get selected. Mostly the post of sales manager and data handler are given in the 1st stage. Highest package is around 10 lakhs per annum will be increased latter. Medium package is also around 6 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the science students, the fee is a little high because it includes lab charges as well. But for the humanities and commerce students, it's around 16000. College also provides a fee concession of 12, 000 to science stream students from poor families. Though you need to worry about the fee as you'll get a number of opportunities to do stipend-based internships to have some earning of your own. There is a National Scholarship Portal that provides scholarships to almost all the students with 95% plus marks in 12th.

Campus Life

4

The series of fest starts from the month of February and lasts to the month of April. The fests bring with them cash prizes sometimes around 20,000. There are games, stalls like bookstalls, food stalls, tarot card reader, DJ night, celebrity night, and many more. Drc's jalsa - the annual Diwali Mela - features among the top three Diwali mela of Delhi University. Every year for the freshers DRC conducts freshers' sports meet in the month of October. It includes kabaddi, kho kho, shot put throw, 100 meters, 200 meters, and many more. There are numerous social groups, clubs, and societies in our college. Some of these include photography society, quiz society, Indian dance society, western dance society, theatre, NSS. NCC, NSO.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

At the very beginning of my 2nd year, due to the bad behavior of the warden, students protested against the administration and the hostel has been closed since then. Every room had four accommodations with two ACs. Purified 24x7 drinking water was provided. The electricity charge was included in the room rent. Hostel had its own mess and the quality of food was good enough for Life sustenance.
