Entrance Preview

I didn't gave any entrance exam for taking admission in this college. I too admission through management quota. I just opted for this college because it was referred by a friend of mine. So I thought this is the only one for me. And I didn't know. Much about the different options of colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is good as it is designed by the renowned university of our country. But it lacks the research field. It mostly focuses on the academics rather than field work. The university provides a large options for the electives but the choses the most easy and of no use subjects as the electives.

Internships Opportunities

No my college doesn't provide any types of internship. And it shows no extra activities for student development.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placements are zero as the college shows no effort in making placements. But the job opportunities still remains active as the degree is from one of the most renowned university of our country. The college just spreads rumours of the placements and the notice board is full of such information.

College Events

1

All of the local festivals are celebrated in my college. And the major days are also celebrated. But main event of my college is the annual day called ghousiana. The college is decorated like a bride. Many cultural programmes are organised in that. Many sports programmes are also organised. And the the annual college fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. The tuition fee is one lakh. The university fees is eleven thousand. The hostel fee is twenty thousand. The mess fee is three thousand per month. Overall all the fee are quite feasible as compared to other college university in Bangalore.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such thing is offered by my college. But I have availed scholarship offered by govt. My college shows no such interest.

Campus Life

5

In college there should be no word like gender. Workshop should be organised to develop the skill and knowledge of the students. The college should show their interest in such thing's. And an engineer should be developed in all fields . should be well knowledge in all the social fields.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college doesn't works on the development of the college. And they not useful in placements.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is good as it is designed by the university. The are Enough gaps between the exams. Unless someone has back logs. In such condition the gaps are filled by the back papers. And in some cases there are two exams in a day. This becomes hectic.

Admission

I got the admission in management quota. As I came for admission I was given a form to fill along with my complete details and all the documents. And all the admission was completed in a day. Followed by payment of fee . Overall all the admission process was simple without any trouble. And administration was nice.

Faculty

2

There are total 10 faculty in the department. First one is the hod who is just similar to manmohan Singh. Now talking about the faculties two are excellent with knowledge but don't know how to spread it around to the students. Some are just to insult the students. Rest are just to take the salary.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
