Remarks

The admission process is the same as other colleges. Minimum marks criteria are of 99% minimum in CET for general quota. There is nothing like specific counselling, they'll provide you details for counselling through email.

Course Curriculum Overview

All teachers are supportive and they are qualified from NIT and IIT's .choosing this course makes me happy. Because my hobbies are perfectly matching to this course. Teacher: student ratio of our college is well maintained. Minimum qualifications for teachers are PhD/Masters.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are the same as the placements. Students were selected from different companies like TCS, JPMC, Morgan Stanley etc for internships. For internships, students have a related skillset which they're applying to the company.

Placement Experience

College placement is very good and 80% of students were selected in different companies like JPMS, TCS, Infosys. Many students are eligible for placement and the placement criteria for college is 45%in academics. If Some students want to go for higher studies there is no restriction on them to be placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee for every year is 160000 and there currently is no hike in fee. The government of Maharashtra provides a scholarship for students whose income is less than 8 lakhs. 50% of the fee is waived with a scholarship. Hence students need to pay 80000 after applying for a scholarship.

Campus Life

College life is too good. There is a department-wise fest in our college every year. Fest is conducted in the month of January and there are many events like drama, singing etc. There is also a library for students which is available till 8 pm every working day.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility for our college. We have to leave in another government/ private hostel. I'm in the government hostel of the Vasant Dada Patil engineering college hostel. The room condition and meal in the hostel are good. For the registration process, you must have to go there and fill the form.

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

I had applied to DJ sanghvi, VJTI and COEO,pune. Out of these I made the cut for DJ sanghvi but kept SPIT over it because of the reputation and placement records it holds. Also the fees were less. I couldn't get computer branch in VJTI and COEO due to their high cutoff. Mostly students take admission after clearing MHTCET exam with good rank. Did SPIT worth it??

To take admission in this college you have to score good rank in mht vet exam after that you can apply through cap portal of Maharashtra government website and you get allocated through cap round and once you freeze the college you will be provide date to submit your documents and pay fees and then you will be admitted and you have to search for accomodation on your own as the accommodation provided by college is too costly for average middle class students....Read More
