Campus of college is small but situated in a decent place. A good college in kolkata but not best.

I get in this college through WBJEE exam i got about 7500 rank i had interest in electrical engineering so i opt for this.

Course structure is based upon WBUT. It follows norms given by WBUT. The college is an AICTE-approved institution and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Books are provided by library but all books are not available.

Can't tell about this now. As I am a new student and I have not much information in this topic so I prefer to be silent on this topic.

Placement is average or you can tell good. One girl got placed in Microsoft this year. Mostly packages are around 3-4 lakhs and highest went about 12-13 lakhs per annum. Mostly students got placed by T.C.S. with package ranging from 3 lakhs to 6-7 lakhs per annum.

There are 5 major fests organised by Techno India,held during February–April period. Those are: 1. UNIEX: is a management fest which is organised by the management department(MBA,BBA,BHM,MHA) in January–February. In 2014 Uniex will be held on 7 & 8 February. The events are Drama,Dance,Singing,Tresure Hunt,Business Plan. etc. 2. The Tournament is also held in the month of January and fenbruary. 3. Anakhronos: It is the cultural festival of techno India mainly held in the month of February. 4. Eclectica: It is the literary festival of Techno India held in the month of March. EDGE: It is the annual technical fest of Techno India which is mainly held in the month of April.

In 1st semester fee is about 82000 including 4000 for uniforms and 2nd semester 62000 from 3rd semester onward 41000-42000 for tutions fee. Total expense on tution fee is about 4.2 lakhs in 4 years. With some other registration and examination charge that are not much. You can take 1000 per semester extra for other charges regarding examination or other fees.

P.N.B. available in the campus and as it is aicte approved you can get loan from any bank. I haven't availed any as my parents income is more than 4 lakh per annum and i have not done any research in this topic.

Campus life is good. Gender ratio is about 30:70. Students parties are not so active. Seniors are helpful and many workshop of robotics and coding are taught by them without any fee. Environment is good. Mostly students are from Bengal followed by Bihar and Jharkhand.

Hostel is not available in techno india. However many p.g. are available around 5500 per month with food with 2-3 students sharing one room. If you wish you can rent out a flat also nearby with your friends. As I am living in flat with my 3 more friends.

Senior students are mostly helpful. The rate of ragging is very low from other colleges even better than NITies in this case.

2 internals are carried out before semesters. That means 3 exams including semester exam in one semester. Don't get gaps in internals. In internals papers are of 1 hour or half hour. We give 3 exams in one day. It seems difficult but not so. In semester exam it is decided by WBUT.

I got admission through WBJEE counselling it was after the WBJEE results are out and seat allocation through online counselling in July. WBJEE form was available in December and exam was held in April results was out in may month. Exams was held in West bengal. For outsider center was available in kolkata city.

Many faculties are good. I don't like some facilities on personal basis. But generally are good and co-oprative. There are about 178 faculty members teaching in various departments. More than 2200 students are enrolled to various courses of study.
