The best college

I have applied for Hansraj College because it is one of the most prestigious colleges at Delhi University. I got admission through merit after passing the required cut-off, I applied for the college and the entire process was very smooth, they verify the documents and then further other procedures took place. It took 1-2 days to get through the entire procedure.

The course curriculum is absolutely amazing, a bit outdated but interesting. Our college provides very additional optional subjects to choose from that is the best thing about this college, they let you select the subjects and offer choices for electives and options, as compared to other colleges who most of the time just give their students a subject and don't offer a choice. The faculty is amazing, friendly, and very helpful. Highly qualified faculties are there who have more than 10 yrs of experience, who are Ph.D. and many more. They are all very knowledgeable and give in their best efforts. Exams are conducted two times a year, one during May and the other one in December. They are easy to pass if you study well.

We have a different society for internships i.e internship cell, which brings in different internship opportunities for different profiles. Also, an internship fair used to take place in our college where different companies came, it was a large event. During the pandemic, we have our internship fair online and anyone can come and participate. It was open to every college student in India.

So when you enter your 3rd year i.e final year placement drive starts and you are eligible to apply for the placements. Placement cell is very hardworking and brings in the best companies to the campus, some of them include Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Bain, ZS Associates, Genpact, Zomato, Josh talks, Wipro, Accenture, and many more. The average package offered is 4 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA. I don't know the exact no of students getting placed but yeah those who apply, most of them get placed. I am planning for my master's.

I am not much aware regarding the scholarships, but students who perform academically well or in some sports won any championship are offered scholarships. Fees of our college are comparatively high i.e 20000 for one year

Life at the campus is awesome, there are so many societies like placement cell, commerce society, enactus, spic macay, NSS, etc There are so many fests, competitions, games, events that used to happen throughout the year. Our annual 3-day fest named Confluence. So many celebrities used to come to our college for their promotion and for other events.HR conclave is also a fest organized by the society. So it's all so good. So many sports activities and societies are there like archery, football team, basketball, cricket, Chess, etc. So many books are available in our college library, anyone can issue them anytime. Above all everything is so great about Hansraj College, the infrastructure is beautiful, classes have ACs, big classrooms, amazing canteen, mother dairy, LP is the favorite spot to hang out in our college. I feel proud to be a part of such a prestigious college.
