Remarks
I applied for many other colleges like AMITY etc but I didn't attend because they were too expensive. I got admission to GNIT through AMPAII and JEE Main marks. The admission criteria were marks in 12th above 60% and descent marks in any competitive entrance examination. On admission day I went to college, paid fees, and signed few papers and it was done.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it's my favourite field of study. There are around 7-8 faculty members for every 60 students. Some teachers in this college are really good and well trained. Well semester exams were every 6 months and it wasn't hard for me to pass. for some other students, it was difficult.
Internships Opportunities
There were many companies where I could have got an Internship. But I preferred focusing on my studies. Those who did internships had fairly good projects and tasks related to building apps and designing things.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 6th Semester, the first company which arrived was Infosys. There were many companies that visited this college like - Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Hexaware, and many others. Around 50% of students from my class got placed, placement was low because of Pandemic. After my degree, I will Work for TCS.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's one of the cheapest private colleges you will find, with good infrastructure and a good study environment. At the end of my course, I got placed in TCS. some of my friends went to Capgemini and Accenture as well. But getting a job In the world's largest IT company was a dream come true.
Campus Life
There are a fairly good collection of books and journals available in the library. It's good. Well, I used to participate in many extracurricular activities on campus like Cricket and Badminton. There is also a Volleyball court.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms were good and they used to get a regular cleaning. At day times the food in Hostel was good. but some days at night you might need to buy from outside. The registration process was fairly easy and the hostel was affordable, around 5500 per month. The locality is also good you will easily get a 2BHK flat for 8-12K.
