1) I applied for Presidency University, Ashutosh College, Scottish Church College but I took admission at Lady Brabourne College because of its faculty and environment. The teachers of the college are very helpful in all aspects i.e. not only studies but also other problems. 2) I did not avail any quota for admission because the admission is purely based on merit. 3) The admission criteria are totally based on merit and without any entrance examination. Minimum qualification for B.Sc. Microbiology is minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 with a combination of science for general, 55% for OBC category, and 50% for SC/ST category. 4) On the counseling day, as the number of seats was limited to 30, so they made a list according to the marks received and called the names of the students who got admitted. The academics of this college is very good, all the students have a healthy competition among them. The best thing that I personally liked about this college was that if you want to participate in any event it's on a first-come basis no matter how skilled you are. To get enrolled in this college you have to fill the online application form though before applying do read the eligibilities because it states you have to score 70% up in English and maths. The aggregate should be higher than 70%. The price of this form is 150 after 3 weeks the first list comes out and within a week after the second list.
