Remarks

Because it is peaceful, colder and with beautiful scenery. Professors there are extremely good and motivating. Free UPSC and NET classes provide after college with bus facility. Greenery + many side activities which lets the students to enjoy and study well at the same time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything good. They take three sessionals put of which best two are taken. Having three sessionals is actually good. We get to prepare for semester this way. And most importantly the professors are just too good. They always reach u out and make u revise. Mr. Satyakam Agarwala is the best of all professors out there and he deserves more.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 33 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have done two projects. Under NGIEDC USTM. It's really good. We can give our innovative ideas and work on that. Every year students with innovative idea get 2lakh budget per project. Of which students are given stipend of 5 thousand each.

Placement Experience

No idea about placement at all. . Maximum seniors said that placement chances are really low. It's good to get an undergraduate degree here and go for masters in Central universities as they prepare the students for better.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite high for me. It's thirty three thousand whereas bsc microbiology is twenty five thousand per semester. This structure is really to a fair one as microbiology gets to do the highest practicals and pay less. But students of biotechnology suffer a lot

Campus Life

All good. But no swimming pool. Gym is there. Football ground basketball court. Everything is there. Our library has the greatest no. Of books and the laboratories have almost all the necessary equipments needed to study. Specially science.

Admission

Not yet as I'm in last semester. As soon as our semester ends I will be able to give entrances. There is no written test or even any interview to get into the college. Of your% of marks in 12 is more tha 60. You'll get admitted. 5% relaxation to ST-SC candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. Placement Experience:

From the first semester itself, the students can be a part of campus placement. I have no idea about the companies visited but I Heard that every year some international companies visits to offer some jobs. I have no idea about the highest and average package of the job which is offered by companies I can say 50-60 percent of the students gets a placement who applied for the job I will be doing masters or I will be starting my own business and if you want to help me then please mail me so that i can start from now and i want to start as early as possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the different types of interest that I have are present here in this course, and as I have said earlier that I have a keen interest in Law I don't have to think twice to choose this course. The curriculum is not up to the mark for applications in the real world, there are few discrepancies and inorder to match up the level outside we have to put a lot of efforts and leave no opportunities when we get them. Moot Courts should be conducted more often.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculums include theory and clinics. Theory is done in the morning and clinics in the noon and practical in the afternoon. This curriculum is quite good to prepare us to become a good doctor, both in studies and in clinical practice. As the world is evolving in terms of technology, I believe there must be a more innovative way of teaching making use of all the technologies available for teaching such as PowerPoint, 3d models (real and virtual), etc. There must also be proper ventilation, cooling system, etc to help the students cope up with the weather of the college. There are 4 exams in a year which to me are too much. Besides the NEET PG exam will be MCQs so what is the point of doing objective questions and answers.

Remarks:

NIT Meghalaya is a decent institute as par as studies are concerned. You will have ample of chance to study and learn new stuffs, being a new institute you get a lot of stuffs and initiatives to be done and handled single handy which gives another chance not only to learn and showcase your skills but also to use it in future for organizing similar stuffs in future.Being a MeghNITe , it was always a cutting edge for me in interviews and people used to literally appreciate the exposure I had even from being a remote located college of India ( though it was not pretty different to what a normal NITian would had in other NIT).If you do same thing in limited resources to what your competitor does with ample of resources, even having same outcome it?Ûªs more likely to get appreciated and this is what happens when you are studying at new NIT.Coming to infrastructure : NIT M has decent labs ( comparable to even many of old IITs ) ,mix of youth ,energetic and quite experienced pool of faculties , prime location and technically sound students as college.I would suggest to go ahead with decision and consider it a fair Chance to study at NITM (Provided you do not have any better option).

In this college admission process is very simple you should go the campus first which is located on meghalaya Ri Nhoi district near 9th mile guwahati. I want to study my previous university that was Guwahati university but my dream university was this University of science and technology Meghalaya. But wanted to study there because that was an government institute no money needed for semester fees and a very law budget students can study there and also a very good university of North-east Assam. I applied in Gauhati University but didnt get selected there because I couldn't crack their entrance exam.
