USTM B.Sc Biotechnology: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the college is straightforward, requiring no written test or interview. Students with over 60% in their 12th grade are eligible, with a 5% relaxation for ST-SC candidates. The biotechnology program costs Rs. 33,000 per semester, higher than the BSc Microbiology program at Rs. 25,000 per semester. Despite higher fees, biotechnology students have fewer practical sessions compared to microbiology students. Each semester includes three sessional exams, with the best two contributing to internal marks, which also factor in attendance, presentations, and assignments.
