Faculty members 1:10 ratio in against students.Tge relationship of students and faculty is very friendly.One of our best faculty member is our Dipankar dutta because he was so rude from outside but soft from inside.There was not any faculty member whom I don't like.There 4 semester and 8 sessional exam .The difficulty level of semester system is high .out of 120 students 20 students used to fail in every semester.The course curriculum was so relevant.

USTM "THE AMAZING LAND"

Faculty:

The faculty members are very friendly and they teach in a very good way . They provide us with situations to help us in our real world problems . The faculty to student ratio differs in every departments . There are a lot of good faculties who not only help us in our course but also help in our relationship life problems . But also there are some facilities who are rude and full of themselves. There are 4 exams in total in per semester. The exams consist of 3 sessional exams and one end semester exams Most of the students pass in the students but 7-10 students fail .

Secondly the teacher.they are very sincere and take our classes sincerely and guide us like their children.

Faculty:

There are more than 300 faculties are present and more than 7000 students are there. In our department I like the most Dr. Rashmimala kakati mam,she is very sincere,very kind hearted and her capacity to understood the student is very good.. that's why I love her more and more. . Since 1.5 years I didn't get any faculty that they are bad . Every one is good. .there are 3 sessional exam including final exam...yes The exam question paper are moderate not so easy not so tough. . Out 60 only 4 or 5 people got back.. otherwise everybody get pass

BA IN ADMINISTRATION AND GOVERNANCE FROM USTM AND UPSC PREPARATION.

Faculty:

faculty to student ratio is very good. 1:15 , 1:22. since i was in BA ADMINISTRATION AND GOVERNANCE, the faculties were really very helpful and were always available to us round the clock. no matter whatever doubts we had, they were always present. the best faculty ws our HOD, Mr.Pradyumna Phukan sir. He is just briliant. no such teachers as to dislike as all were very much friendly. EXAM PATTERN :- we were always engrossedin giving regular exams. we have 2 sessionals, presentations and projects, and finally the end sem examination. the examination is upto the standard, with passing rate of around 90%. the course curriculum is very much relevant as we need to constantly be on the loop for news and happenings in our society. being a course for UPSC and state PCS, current affairs is given paramount importance in all formats of examinations.

The teachers and their helping nature in all case

Faculty:

There are 15 faculty member in our department and total students is 250 (approx). So the ratio of students to teacher is 1:15. The teachers are very helpful and approachable. The faculty whom i like the most is Dr. Kamal Chy. He is very helpful and explains every concept in detail. I love all the teachers and don't dislike any. 3 semester exams are conducted in each semester followed by a final exam. 5-6 students get back in any paper sometimes
