Remarks

First, the exam called JEE mains held and if you get good rank in that then one should have to fill the form at the time of counselling and have according to that one get a college. Counseling is quite a simple and easy process they just check the certificate and documents and approve them and ask some silly questions.

I get this course according to my rank The faculty and students ratio is good in my college There are approx. 5 faculty per 100 students. Faculty are well educated and also have great teaching skills with a proper degree. In a period of semester there are two terms exams mid term and end-term and they are average.

There are lots of companies that offer internships for my branch. I had not till joining the internship. But I am sure it would be great fun and energetic work Companies are Tata steel, Uber, honda, coal India , NYL, HCL

In 4th year student is eligible for campus placement. For my branch - tata Steel, coal India , HCL , NYLand many more. For my branch highest package is 16 lac last year and the average is 9 lac . For my branch 94% of students getting placements My plan after getting a degree is the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay all types of fees at the starting of the semester. The tuition fee is 83000 per sem But with an income certificate of less than 1lac will have to pay 1/3 rd fee An income certificate of 1 to 5 lac will have to pay a 2/3 fee. And there are lots of scholarship based on category , grade in 1st sem

Campus Life

Annual fest - incident event Tech fest - engi event Almost all the books preferred by prof. Are available in library. There are almost all types of sports facilities in my college indoor and outdoor both. IEEE, ACE, IET and lot more are the club for student-run by students

Hostel Facilities

24 hours electricity, 24-hour wifi up to 10gb per day per person and lane cable for labtop , mosquito net at window. The meal is in very high quality two types of mess veg and non-veg u can choose any. The registration process is done during counseling time and has very low fees.

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem the students will be eligible for campus placements Companies Infosys ,Tata ,Samsung, Mercedes ,Bosch, Many more etc. Highest package was given at 6.5 lakhs And the average package will come around 3 lakhs . It's like 50 : 50 ratio where you'll get 50% of them will qualify for the placements and 50% will not qualify replacements. I just want to do Masters after my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

After GATE exam, I applied to almost all top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut etc during CCMT counselling . I had also applied in IIT Dhanbad in COAP counselling. I got IIT Dhanbad in 8th round. I spoke to my coaching Sir, he had advised me to go for top 3 NITs rather than IIT Dhanbad. Since these three NITs are well established and offer better placement opportunities as compared to IIT Dhanbad which is relatively a new IIT. One needs to qualify GATE exam to get a shot at taking admission in IITs/NITs. Once you qualify the GATE exam you can then look at specific colleges cutoff for admission. I got NIT Surathkal in special round 1 which was held after 3 regular rounds. I preferred NIT Surathkal as compared to other NITs since its considered in top 3 NITs and also it's near my home as compared to NIT Trichy....Read More

LIFE AT NITK

I had applied for other IITs & NITs with different branches like IIT GUWAHATI and IIT BHU ,IIT ROORKEE,NIT TRICHY as i wasn't able to clear the cutoff according to their requirements i got NITK SURATHKAL which was the best that i got i choosed the other colleges because of their higher placement records more average salary packages and the most OG thing is that i wanted the IITian tag but i had also got a seat allocated in IIT BHU in metallurgy but i didnt wanted to take it and finally i chose NITK SURAATHKAL because it near to my hometown Banglore and the weather is very good there it has a privatre beach along with a light house many places to visit around NITK SURATHKAL mainly a very big campus of aroung 300 acres and multiple number of sports opportunities it has 2 gym .
