Entrance Preview

I get a rank about 32000 in JEE and admitted in BBIT EE stream . I always wanted go for physics and loved engineering so I chose Electrical to be my best fit.

Internships Opportunities

They didn't provide any internship when I was there in my college . But they provide us with several training programmes and visit to different companies and power generating stations.

Placement Experience

I can say the opportunity is good not always everyone gets the job via college . But they gave us training for how to crack an interview or score good in them which was helpful for many of us . They made us job ready and today I can say most of my batchmates are working and having a job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was 45000 appx, it was a bit more than the average. But there was several scholarships like merit cum means etc. which helped many students that I knew back then.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there was merit cum means scholarships and I availed it . It reduced my tuition fees by 50%. College arranged student , education loan for many students which helped them to study engineering.

Campus Life

Gender ratio was approximately boys: girls 60:40. We organised some workshops on robotics , arduino and some other programming languages which helped students to learn new things.

Faculty

In this case I can say most of the faculties know the base about what they are teaching. Some faculty are so willing that u can start conversation anywhere even in the bus while travelling.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
