Pros : Hassle-free admission. Amazing French Faculty Cordial staff Helpful teachers Good Metro connectivity to the college Beautiful campus Cons : Lack of guidance for the future. Not enough preparatory tests before exams

Course Curriculum Overview

Interest in French since school, 25 students and less in each batch, The teacher had a masters in french language translation and literature, had travelled to France and was very well versed with the french culture. Her way of teaching was extremely Well-structured and eloquent. Term exams for conducted by the GRS dept of Delhi University and students were provided with enough study material and assistance and all of them passed the exams with flying colours.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study was a bit higher-end but considering the alternative language institutions and the faculty provided, it seemed justified. With every subsequent level, the fees hiked by more than 20% though.

Campus Life

Annual Cultural fest conducted by DU in the months of February and March. The library had ample physical and e-resources. The recent development of the French club. Class activities organized by the teacher and the students.

French Course and campus review of KMV

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was good and appealing but it's real life application was not taught. As in the basics were known by the end of the class but speaking or interacting in french was still a task and was not that easy. Even the exam was yearly so no scope of feedback or improvement was left. It was overall a decent course .

It is a prestigious college engaged in imparting liberal education to young women. The college, a large constituent college of the University of Delhi, originally started as 'Pramila College" at 22, Tilak Marg, New Delhi with 13 members of teaching staff, two office staff and about 350 students. I chose this college because it was an all-girls college. I wanted to go to Miranda, but the cutoff there was too high, and I couldn't make it. The admission process was simple. I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
