It is a prestigious college engaged in imparting liberal education to young women. The college, a large constituent college of the University of Delhi, originally started as 'Pramila College" at 22, Tilak Marg, New Delhi with 13 members of teaching staff, two office staff and about 350 students. In 1964, the college shifted to its present premises in North Campus, University of Delhi and was re-named as 'Daulat Ram College'

It's the best college in the campus , I took Chinese as my subject , in u the pas one year I studied it well admission was on merit basis .

It's feasible. Fees is very nominal no costly at all this is the plus point of the college.for girls it is less fees which include tuition fees and for boys it is more as compare to girls fees. Also this rule is followed as per university rules. There fore no extra amount is taken by college. Fees structure and receipts are given as per rules. It female college so no point in gender ratio . Rest the language course have good number of boys bit not as much as girls. Parties and workshop are good enough on festivals. Societies and Cultural Activities Debating Society. Everything mentioned above is very fair enough.

However, the improved accommodation will cost significantly more than last year. For instance, Daulat Ram College, which has probably the most 'luxurious' hostel on the campus, has increased hostel fee to Rs 66,000 per year from roughly Rs 32,000 last year. Due to limited number of seats, only meritorious students are selected for admission to the hostel. Apart from various facilities, the hostel provides a comfortable and happy stay for the resident students. The hostel has well laid out lush green lawns and gardens which not only add beauty to the ambience but also help in providing peaceful and conducive atmosphere for studies. The hostel has been winning acclaim and awards for the best environment of hostels in Delhi University. It also has its own kitchen garden. Food is good too.

Exam structure is very good ,, classes were hectic in which we have the exams ,, very messy and hot , humid and suffocating. Rest of the labs are fully A/C ,, its good .Rest you can assure by enquiring from the college , the administration is good and it will help you out too.

Admission was on merit basis . 80% were the 1st cut off list and 75% was the last cut off list in which i got the admission in my college. Procedure was very easy , get a form filled only and to submit it . Senior secondary examination marks were the criteria of the admission process more than 250 people applied for this and only few got admission around 50 Students . Administration was too helpful.
