Remarks

Good thing is college is located in beautiful environment and faculties are excellent. Degree is most valuable and lots of opportunities are available in Government and private sector.Admission process - based on 2nd PUC percent along with the CET Rank Seats are allotted.

This course is all about agriculture marketing and it includes all sort of related course and help full in doing agri business management (ABM).Faculty are well experienced and well trained.Student Ratio-Boys=32, Girls=28

From 7th sem campus placement will begin, From industries sector, Banking sector and other agri companies will visit our college.Highest -7 lakh- 9lakh and lowest - 2 lakhI am planing to get double degree

Internships are good

Placement Experience:

Placements are good mainly for IT related courses. And average package is around 6to 7 LPA. I came here in the intention of grtting placed in the college campus only. From 5th semester you can get internships as well as placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Speaking about course curriculum that had a different story like I wanted to become a doctor and I belong to a biology background in my puc but I had some health issues that's the reason I couldn't attend my NEET exam also I couldn't waste one complete year so that's the reason I chose BCA. But once I joined I realised tat it was that difficult and it actually became my interest. Curriculum provides a set of courses where students can first understand about each course and then look into the courses and select any of those depending on their interest. So I feel that's required and that's very important for every student. I would suggest to give a demo to students which means to tell them wat all a particular course has, what all students can take, and to tell them which career opportunities which course provides. We had 60 marks paper with 2.3 hours of time it wasn't that difficult only if uh are prepared. Again it all depends on the preparation and hard work of the students. The question paper is made considered the average students as well. So it wasn't that difficult until you get familiar with the subjects.

Placements are decent it's not too big nor too small as far as coming to last year comeouts all of them almost are employed for a decent 5 6 lpa package which is good at begining sap, TCS Accenture and many other companies come to college which is inturn a good deal

As of today September 2024 there are no placement round that happened in banglore campus as its new but the 1st batch 2021-25 will have their placement in main campus so the average is around 13LPA but our batch(26) will have placement here it slef so we are expected good placement than them as we will get more companies than main campus so based on pervious stats 80% have got placed and least package is 8LPA and highest is 42LPA the college will train you and push you to get better placement you should just liste. To them and follow by maintain decent gpa(7) in 2022 around 185 companies visited manipal including manjor companies like amazon Microsoft oracle Nvidia. And the requirement for sitting in placement for few companies are way low like amzon requirement were 5gpa so its easy to get opportunities but you should use them completely

University of agriculture science is the oldest agri university in Karnataka with 4 campuses. It has a beautiful campus of 1200acres in bangalore. The college has around 27departments related to agriculture and social science from which we can specialize on. I could make a list of negatives of the college such as poor administration efficiency, outdated infrastructure(there were literally 4 microscopes for a batch of 50 in genetics and pathology class), bureaucratic apathy where they don't care for students at all. One of the most terrifying things are the marking pattern and examination where there are marks for attendance(just your physical presence is needed) and non synchronous exam pattern. The field practices are outdates with poor infra. Very few field visits and no encouragement to think out of the box. Boys hostel is too old and so are a few classrooms. Apart from this there are a few departments such as entomology and physiology which gives you freedom to do research and they do organize seminars. The department is studded with top class faculty with progressive mindsets.
