Remarks

I have chosen NIT Jalandhar because in 2020 the rank of NITJ in NIRF is 52th, and I want only the Computer Science branch so that. I have chosen this college and it comes in the top 10 colleges of NITs amongst India and last year the highest package in our college is 49 lakh/PA.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen the CSE branch because the upcoming scenario of the world is of IT companies, there has a high package in CSE, the faculties in NIT Jalandhar is far good. There were 2 exams in a semester one midterm and 2nd one end term examination. The exams are of medium level.

Class Size: 109Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Internships Opportunities

From the 3rd year, the companies visit the college for summer internships and if students do work nicely then they also get Pre Placement Offer, but you have to add some projects in your resume, they shortlist the candidates by resume only.

Placement Experience

Placements of NIT Jalandhar is on fire! last year in the CSE batch Microsoft took away 3 students with 43.65 lac/PA and PhonePe with 37 lac pa. The percentage of students placed is 93%. After getting the degree I would like to work in a company like Microsoft, Google.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of NIT Jalandhar depends on your family income, if your family income is less than 1 lac then you have to pay 39000 Rs per year without hostel and mess fee, if income is greater than 1 lac and less than 5 lac then you have to pay 80680 Rs per year, if income is greater than 5 lac then you have to pay 164000 per year, but you can avail various scholarships in NSP portal.

Campus Life

In NIT Jalandhar there will onefests every year in Utkansh, there are many clubs like Kalakaar Club. Artisans, MediaCell, Quest, Coding club, Coding Mafia, LADC, etc. There are many Instagram pages of college.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
