Remarks
Great campus. Amazing lab and infrastructure. Great professors. Good placement opportunities. Great startup support. Famous for student overall growth. Entire campus wifi coverage. Huge library. The mismanagement problem is huge. Some Faculty not well trained. Use of college playing grounds and sports equipment restricted. Labs equipment is outdated. Proper medical facility missing. The location is very remote.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have always been passionate about electronics engineering so that's why I decided to pursue it. The faculty to student ratio is somewhat average. Most of the teachers are highly qualified but the teaching method is very trivial and lacks compassion and creativity. Exams very held every 2months and the tests were fairly easy to pass if you follow everything that's being taught in class.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester onwards students are provided the option to sit for placement. Top companies like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, Infotech, Godrej, IBM, Capgemini, Nestle, Amazon take students from the institute. The highest package provided is 15lpa and the lowest is 2.8 LPA. 90% of the students are placed. My plan after getting a degree is persuing for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is very acceptable. And scholarships are not available but financial assistance can be provided and job on campus is not available. This sector can be enhanced. The entire fee structure division is though not justified.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Eclecia which this the cultural fest and Dakshh which is the tech fest. These are very well known and are one of the biggest and most extravagant fests in eastern India. Classrooms are very spacious with good lighting. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged but the equipment is not readily available. Heritage has 13 clubs and many social groups.
