Remarks

I choose this college as it is one of the most prominent colleges for BCom Hons and also It comes under DU North campus. The admission is generally based on class 12 merit. And as I stated earlier it is one of the superior college in which a commerce student can enroll. I didn't collect any information prior through any website I got to know about the college from my friends and teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

Commerce equates to BCom Hons generally most of the students go with this choice I was also the one to choose. The faculty is awesome yes strict though but overall it's good. There are 6 semesters which equates to 3 years.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know yet to be part of the placement. So can't tell right now but generally, placement opportunity for BCom Hons is over an edge all-time unrespect to other courses. You can expect 2 lakhs to 13 lakhs on average 5 lakhs approx.

Fees and Financial Aid

21,000 per year and the scholarship is also available for needy and deprived as well as meritorious students. Exactly I can't remember the name of the scholarship but you will find two of them one provided by the college and one given by the government.

Campus Life

Awsome you will love spending time here and you will spend the most beautiful years of your life. Canteen lovers point basketball court badminton court societies and all just chill, you gonna love hanging out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
