Remarks

Dyal Singh College is situated on the south campus of Delhi University and is one of the best colleges in India and mostly in the Northern region of India. As affiliated with Delhi University this college has good infrastructure garden labs auditorium etc. The faculty and the Teachers are also very good. They take admission through the marks of class 12th and this year the admission process was online but mostly to the previous year, it was offline.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I had always been fond of novels but couldn't take arts in 12th so being from PCM background it was a huge change in my academic like Dyal Singh evening college helped me a lot gaining confidence about this course. The student ratio in our class is 5:13 and there are more girls in the course but the boys are equally dedicated to literature. The course has 6 semesters for 3 years with 2 core papers 1 generic elective and 1 each in the first semester. The college takes and semester exams and they are not really difficult if you have good preparations.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college provides on-campus internship and the packages remain between 1 lakh to 3 lakh rupees and the companies that visit our HDFC Wipro phone pay etc. The placement cell of the college is very active to bring out the various companies to provide the internship to the students of all the courses.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students have innumerable opportunities as internships provided by the placement cell of the college which is very active they also give students the opportunity to be part of the summer internships by various companies the students from all the courses are eligible for the internships since the beginning of the first years only. There are various companies that visit the college like HDFC, Wipro etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for this course is 13k per year which is quite affordable for middle-class people as well as compared to private universities. There are several scholarships given to economically weaker background students and students with great academics.

Campus Life

5

Dyal Singh Evening College has a very good crowd and it is a student-friendly campus. It has got numerous fest conducted every year and although the semesters are going online we have first organised recently is Rajnigandha the annual fest of Dyal Singh Evening College. This fest keeps the children involved in extracurricular activities apart from sports and there are various committees like the anti-ragging committee and women development cell for the personality development and preservation of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

I specifically chose Economics and history to study because I had an interest in both. Economics is pretty self explanatory, learning about how the world economy works is interesting. History on the other hand is interesting because you get to know how civilization and society developed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams
