Remarks

It is a good government undertaking where tuition fees are very low. Yearly tuition fees are about 16K. Admission is fully online. This is well-reputed in the North Kolkata area. So I go to this college. My elder brother also read in college.

The student and teacher ratio is 1:25 or something less in our college. It is Barasat University undertaking college. Exams are held on a semester basis. Teachers are very helpful in the CS department. They help us in practical and internals.

Placement Experience

There are no campus placements but various it based companies came to our college forgive us good placements. Also, we get fellowships from many renowned companies. The placements offers are very good in our college. Salary can be higher up to 6 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total yearly fees are 16k. It is excluding everything like a library, lab, exam fees etc. All state govt and central govt scholarships are provided by the college. Also, financial assistance provided by the college union. No campus jobs available.

Campus Life

There is no name for the annual fest but it has organized splendidly by the college union. Our college is very neat and clean. There are various extracurriculars happens like blood donation and sports etc. We have a good college union where no politics happens.

1.The faculties of modern physics and computational physics were exceptional and in my opinion the best in the city. 2.Since i was more inclined towards modern physics i chose this particular college. 3.The curriculam prepares the students for higher studies like masters and doctorate. 4.The frequency and timing of exam coincided with calcutta university. 5.Areas of improvement-Better Equipment for Optics lab and more digital equipments.

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
