An engineering college that is Worth choosing.

The only bad remark is that we need to spend a lot during the tenure of the education.

I took the UPES entrance exam and scored 519 rank. I opted for this college because it was a domain specific college and had excellent educational standards. The college has very good set of faculties and labs that enable you to get the desired knowledge with the expected standards.Also it offers good placement assistance.

The course curriculum was also upto the mark and met every standard we had the chance to learn everything related to our domain also the practical experience was good enough to score good it was upto the standards.

Internship was also good and had a learning experience. Stipend amount was less but the practical experience was good.

Placements are one of the best part for domain courses. You will see 100s of companies and jobs floating for meritorious students. Also a decent package. Some courses do not have a good placement.

We had various events that were celebrated in the college ranging from technical events to the cultural ones. Also we had many sports event that made students active enough in participating and rejuvenating their day to day life It was superb.

It is a bit expensive you will end up spending almost 15 Lakhs for the B.Tech course and same is for the other courses hence it is a bit expensive. People should expect that they will have to pay almost twice than the other colleges in that league. But will surely get a good exposure.

Loan facilities were also there and in terms of scholarships, we had a scenario wherein the top scoring students got good amount of scholarships for the following year and the marking is relative so the spirit of competition is very high.

Campus life is awesome and full of excitement it was almost everyday that we got engaged in other useful activities. The gender ratio was almost 60:40 for boys and girls and diversity was also one of the best part as we had students from almost all the parts of india.

Hostel and mess facilities are also good. Food is hygienic and well versed U can find food for almost every kind of region and religion and also other amenities are available in case you want a change anyday.

Alumini network is also good but that is less approachable. We do not get enough opportunities to meet and know them.

Exam are held in a trimester basis and in a relative manner CGPA system is there and exams are held in the most desired and organised way. you just need to listen to the teachers and you will surely get through.

I would give at least 9 out of 10 to the faculties of the college. they were also a source of inspiration they are wise and equipped enough with knowledge and know how of the industry Keep it up UPES you rarely find that high standards of education.
