QUALITY OF INTERNSHIPS AT HANSRAJ COLLEGE,DU

Good aspects are:- 1) Faculty is brilliant, college societies give as much exposure as they can. There are a lot of competitions occurring in our college at this time or at that time. Students can participate in competitions and can widen their knowledge. Infrastructure is good. The internship cell of Hansraj College is also working very well. They find a lot of Internship opportunities for the students, by through students can gain real-life experience. The admission process was completely online last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the announcement of cut-offs, we had to submit our documents digitally and after document verification, we had to deposit our fees online. I used collegedunia.com & shiksha.com while the admission process.

I chose BCom Hons because I possess a keen interest in Finance & Accounting. Faculty is very brilliant at our college, Qualifications of faculties are MCom, M.Phil, PhD. My internals consists of 25 marks and the faculty splits these 25 marks into two:- 10 and 15 and accordingly our internals take place. The difficulty type of paper is moderate. It is neither too easy nor too tough.

The internship cell of Hansraj college continually works the providing the best Internship opportunities to the students of Hansraj College. The companies offering internships are IIFL securities Ltd., D.E Shaw. An annual Internship fair is used to be organized every year.

The 3rd year students are eligible for placements. High-tier companies visit our college includes Deloitte, Bajaj capital, and many more. The placement cell of Hansraj college works for providing the best placement opportunities to students of Hansraj College.

The fee Structure of mine is 20,495 per year. This is 1st year fee. I didn't take any scholarship or financial assistance. I got 1 Internship on-campus with stipend and even there are many Internships that Internship cell, hansraj provides with stipend. It is one's choice for which Internship he wants to go for.

Due to the online classes going on, I haven't seen my college library. The clubs and societies are really good. They provide great exposure to students. There is a sports society as well in Hansraj College. One can polish his/her skills and gain knowledge & experience through societies and internships.

There was no Group Discussion, no Interview round. I took admission in BCom Hons, and it was merit-based. The admission process was:- First of all, we have to register ourselves on the DU portal. The Student who will register themselves on the DU portal will be further eligible for cut-offs. After the cutoff list, we had to apply to the colleges where our marks are within the cut-off. After document verification, a payment link comes on the DU portal through which we had to make the payment of college fees.
