Remarks

The infrastructure is very good. Classes are well-maintained. Faculties are friendly except for some. Hostel needs to be expanded. Hostels have a much lesser capacity and need to be maintained. The admission process is on the merit-based entrance exam, i.e., CUCET. Provides BTech CSE education at a much lesser price. Have gained much popularity in subsequent years. I referred to the article of this university on career360.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I always had an interest in computers, ethical hacking, and coding. So these inspired me to take this course. Faculty: Students ratio is 1:40. Faculties are good enough and have higher qualifications. Their teaching methods are good except for some teachers. As of now, due to COVID-19, exams and academics are a little bit delayed otherwise, it's always been in time.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Internships are offered in the final year of the course by few companies. Roles will be as per the company. The stipend is nearly 5-6K per month. In some cases we don't get a stipend, all we get was work experience.

Placement Experience

2

In the fourth year, students are eligible for campus placements. Not more than 10 companies visit the campus and nearly 3-4 good offers are made. The highest package offered was 13 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Only 10-15% of students get on-campus placement. I planned to attend the GATE examination after the degree to get a better package or to pursue higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the courses are much less and reasonable. Many scholarships are provided on central merit-cum based and some are provided by state governments too. Scholarships are also available for disabled and backward classes. Placements are not good till now but we expect it to be improved in subsequent years.

Campus Life

4

Annual fests and tech fests happen in university during the month of February, i.e., Annual Convocation and National Science Day. Plenty of books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms are well-maintained. Sports and other competitions like poetry, debate and much more are organized in due course. There are many social groups and clubs in college like NSS, NCC, Urock Music Club, Aarohi Theater, etc.

Placement Experience:

Here in KR Mangalam University, plcement opportunities start from the 6th semester. Many companies come to the campus for placements like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL, and a few startups too. Some students also get internships before placements. The highest package offered was around 36 LPA and the average package is between 7 to 9 LPA. Most students get placed especially those who have good coding and communication skills. The university also helps students for their interviews and written , aptitude tests through training programs such as boot camps and my more ideas. After completing my degree, I plan to either get a job through campus placement or prepare for higher studies like M.Tech or go for government exams depending on situations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure was very good, syllabus contains all the relevant thing you need to know if we one or two subjects. But what they teaches you will not get you a job, you need to do hardwork and it is same for almost all colleges. You can buy some fancy courses and can study from that.

Several companies come for the placement purpose which goes with interviews. As college has large strength so obviously its not necessary everyone will get the placement but they still try that no one will be left at least one should stand in 2 or 3 interviews plus my opinion is to also try outside waiting for the placement from college is okay but one should try outside my plans are to complete my course have one or two practice jobs then doing mtech .
