Entrance Preview
I got admission over my score of 12th Boards- ICSE with Maths which was 95.5%. I cleared the first cut off. I had filled the separate form along with the general form. SRCC being the top most college in the country, there was no doubt of me going anywhere else if I made it here.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had only one project in the 3 year duration of the graduation. That was good research and practical exposure. The remaining was mostly textbook. We had all year round assignments and examinations twice a year. One of them being the internal exams while the other being university exams.
Internships Opportunities
We didn't have an internship programme. One of the college societies, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, which I was a part of conducted an internship fair back when I was in college. Everyone didn't get internship, it was based in Group discussions and personal interviews. The ones who did get the internship had good things to say about them.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are tremendous. Easily the best that Delhi University has to offer. Several companies come for placement. I myself got placed on campus and have completed four years in the firm that I joined. The companies were classified into two categories dream and non dream. Dream were the ones with higher packages, say over 8-9L pa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fees being a government college was nominal. In fact it was even lesser than my school fees. Around 12,000 per annum. I would rate the fees extremely low given the standard of the college and the subsequent placements. The 12k per Annum is hardly a price to pay for the experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do believe we have scholarships but I am unaware of any loan facility. I did not avail such facilities in my stint and can't provide information on that.
