This college comes under the University of Delhi. It has one of the best teaching faculty at the University of Delhi. The admission is done on the basis of the cut-off list issued by the University of Delhi. The university realizes 5-6 cut-off lists generally between July-August.
Course Curriculum Overview
All the faculty members are highly qualified and very co-operative. The faculty and students ratio is around 1:10. All the semester exams are conducted by the University of Delhi. Odd semester exams are generally held in the month of December and even semester exams are conducted in May.
Placement Experience
The placement cell organizes campus placement every year. Final year students are eligible to take part in the campus placement organized by the placement cell. The estimated highest package offered to any student was around 3LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for B.A. (Hons) English is INR 10,500. There's no hike in fees. There is no scholarship available. For the jobs and internships availability a placement cell is formed and every year an internship fair is organized by the placement cell and many companies take part.
Campus Life
A 3-day long annual fest, called Rajnigandh, is organized in the month of February every year. The college societies organize many arts and cultural competitions in the fest and many colleges take part. The college has societies for Western Dance, Art, Photography, Indian Classical Dance, Music, and Drama. The college also has sports facilities such as football, cricket, chess, athletics, yoga, etc. Many clubs and social groups are also very active in the college such as NCC, NSS, etc.
