Anonymous's Review On Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute Of Technology - [GTBIT], New Delhi

I applied for GTBIT because it has reputation of good college, it also affiliated to GGSIPU University which is one of the best university in Delhi and India, it also has good placement record and its semi government also so i got my mind i will apply for it. I also visited the college and the environment was very good, student talked to me very friendly and i got good vibe and i am happy i made that decision to apply for that college.

It's my dream to get the degree of B. TECH so applied for that course with my favourite Electrical branch. The faculty in that college was very good in every year. There are 2 semester in every year it is of 4 year degree course so total 8 semester. In semester the passing marks is 50% marks overall in subject to clear that subject. It is difficult as compared to other university rules and regulations. But in end it helped to get better percentage greater than 60%, which is required to give competitive exams.

I have not opted for any college placements because all the company that visited are belongs to IT sector in which i have no interest because i want government job. I heard some company gave 18 lakh package and lowest is 3.5 lack package. After the degree i prepared for the government job and after very hard i got it.

Life in the college was very good. I will cherish every moments i spend there. There was lot facility in the college like canteen, sports club, main events, internet lab, chemistry lab, library, and many more are going to come when i completed my course. Library was very good its a calm area where anyone can study without any interference. I made lot of friends there and some will remain for the rest of my life. I had lot of fun.

In first year it is Rs 86000 and after that rs76000 then rs66000 then rs66000. I applied for scholarship given to SC students by Delhi govt rs10000 started from 2nd year. I got no placement because i do not want to go in IT sector and wanted to crack competitive exams and preparing for govt jobs and i got it after lot of hard work.

I lived with my family. My family also live in Delhi so I have to give Faire for the daily transportation which in every year total costed around rs 12178 including transportation, canteen, and any fun activity like watching movie, traveling and extra circular activities.

No there was no GD test it was merely on merit list from the IP University Competitive exams. There was written test like AIEEE and IIT exams. So i have to clear that exams and i will get admission it was the criteria so prepared for it and with my dedication i cleared it with good ranks. I got my name in first university list for B. TECH course.
