Remarks

After researching on all the colleges in Bangalore I opted for JSS because of the placements where most of the companies are visiting.also compared other reputed colleges the college donation was less. After joining the course felt one thing that the staff/lecturers except 1 or 2 were not that knowledgeable to teach engineering. But a few of the lecturers were extra ordinary, Over all it was a good experience and even I got selected in Campus selection and now completed 4 years of my Professional career

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics was my passion so from diploma I was choosing electronics and communication. So did the same in engineering. JSS staff/faculty were goo except 1 or 2 who use to read whatever is there in the text book and blackmailing on the name of internal marks

Placement training was good. Which was given by FACE academy. And most of us are able to get a job.

College Events

It was good. They value both curriculum and extra curricular activities.Annual College fest was one of the fun filled events which everybody used to enjoy

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was reasonable. Some 60000 fees + govt fee was some 5000 and exam fees extra.above is for CET students and for COMED K it was 1.5lakhs. like other colleges exam fees and placement charges are also imposed

Hostel Facilities

I was not staying in the hostel but have visited a couple of times. It was nearby college and security and other amenities were also good.

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Great coure , great college , better life

Likes

Library is well furnished with lots and lots of book.there is well furnished chairs and table like compartments where students can completely isolate himself and study. There are thousands of books in library
Study room is provided at the top floor of the institute. It is really clean and there are separate room like compartments where students can study well. They can even discuss in group if they want
We have a cafe inside our institute. Here we can have tea and coffee to relieve ourselves

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied to many college like sjbit,global ,jnnce,pes,rv,bms and many more They above were all need a higher grade than what I had scored. Jss was near to my home and i had a direct bus root for the college and it has a big campus and a lot of good grades form the students to back it up I couldn't get into bms ,pes or rv because my grades weren't good enough. I chose this college because it's near to my house and I personally feel it's better than all the colleges in the vicinity, which includes RNSIT and SJBIT. I applied for Jee mains but i did'nt got good rank then i applied for COMEDK and i got cse in this college for 18k rank, I choose this college as compared to other private colleges here only limited number of students are there in cse so the competition is not very high Admission processes for our college is simple you have to go through COMEDK counselling there will be three rounds in every round you will have 4 options of freeze seat, accept and upgrade, reject and upgrade, reject.
