Remarks
Bppimt is a decent college under makaut. The college can be considered as one of the top pvt. colleges in wb. The placement record is also more than 100%. So I choose this college. There are companies who conduct a mass recruit process in this college thus the students will definitely get a job.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying B.Tech CSE as I have been very passionate about coding. This department has good reputation unlike others because most high paid jobs are from this department. The teaching quality is excellent. The college puts a lot of pressure on the academics but the professors are always approachable.
Placement Experience
Last few years the placements are going great in our college. 90-100% of the students got places this year and most of them had multiple offers. The highest salary package was that of 12 lakhs per annum and it went to CSE B Tech(my course). Average salary offered around 4 lakhs. The placement process is easy and smooth for those who took it. The college is very supportive.
College Events
There is almost no campus life. Students have to hang out outside the college if they want to hang out. Other places are your classroom and student activity room. There is no such thing as campus life. Students, teachers and support staff are nice. The college handles emergencies well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is open to candidates who belong to one of the Minority Community i.e. Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist, Christian & Jain and are pursuing higher studies such as regular and full time Ph.D. degrees in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Engineering & Technology. 3% fellowships are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates belonging to Minority Communities as per provision laid down by the Government of India.
Campus Life
We have every facility in our college but we dont have a ground. Our college have wifi facility all over the college, computer labs are very well structured and updated with the newest technology. Our college have indoor game facility for carrom and table tennis. Canteen food is good.
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. The hostel fees per month are Rs 4,500. There are several PGs around college at the cost of Rs 6,000. The quality of food is not good in B.P Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, Kolkata. The quality of classroom is good. The quality of labs is moderate. Dining Hall is not good. WiFi is always available but each student has to pay for it separately.
