Remarks

I have attended this college because of it's huge campus and central university tag.At that time it was seemed best college for doing diploma and that's why I have choose this college.This college has an advantage for diploma holders that for promotion in B.tech there is 50% of total seats are available for theirs diploma holder.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Diploma in Mechanical Engineering because of its vast vacancies in Govt. sectors, all the teachers are well qualified here and all the semesters and term exams get completed within the specified semester.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement are quite average there if you're in core then it's even worse but if you're in CS-IT then it's good.Mostly 50-70% get placed between 3-5 lpa every year and highest package touches around 8-9lpa sometimes even more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is very nominal and you will get to complete your diploma under 20K per year.The college provide tution fee waiver to top 2 students from each trade and provide them scolarship apart from this you can avail various state scolarship too.

Campus Life

Campus life is just awesome , a huge campus of 450 acres and with all well developed infrastructure and cricket stadium , gym auditorium it is a great place to live.College also organises 1 tech fest and 1 cultural fest every year to pump and make student enjoy.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good and well equipped with free wifi facility , every hostel has a separate mess and quality of food there is decent. Mess charges 2500 per month and it offers a good quality of food at less amount.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
